Q:What is the layout of the resort?

The Harborside Hotel, Spa & Marina are ideally located in downtown Bar Harbor, along the water's edge. The location offers accommodations that provide amazing views of Bar Island and Frenchman’s Bay. The Bar Harbor Club and Spa are located adjacent to the hotel and is where you will find guest features such as the spa, tennis courts, event spaces, an additional pool (one is located at the hotel too), and a number of jacuzzi hot tubs for guests to enjoy.
Many of Acadia National Park's popular attractions are located very nearby as well, including Cadillac Mountain, Thunder Hole, Sand Beach, and others. This makes the Harborside Hotel, Spa & Marina an ideal base for your Acadia National Park vacation.
Q:How close is the nearest airport?
A:
The closest airport is the Hancock County–Bar Harbor Airport (BHB) which is only about 25 minutes away, and only services commercial flights in the northeast. The Bangor International Airport (BGR) is about an hour away and offers direct flights to several cities daily on Allegiant, American, Delta, and United. The hotel provides no shuttle service to and from Bangor International, however, the airport does offer shuttle service to and from Bar Harbor for an additional fee.
Q:Is there free parking at the hotel?

Self-parking is included with your resort fee during your hotel stay. There is also valet parking available for an additional charge.
Q:What dining options are available on site?
A:
The Harborside Hotel and Marina offers a variety of dining venues to guests right on-site, or very nearby. La Bella Vita is located on-site, open seven days a week, offering a breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu with Italian-inspired fare. Stewmans Lobster Pound is located just a short stroll away from the hotel and provides delicious seafood fare along with both indoor and outdoor waterside dining. Splash Pool Bar offers fresh salads, burgers and sandwiches, signature cocktails, frozen drinks, and ice cold beer that you can enjoy right from the pool deck while looking out over the harbor. Enoteca Wine Bar is located alongside La Bella Vita and offers a full menu of flatbread pizzas, antipasti, and tapas-style small plates to compliment your wine selections.
Q:Is there laundry service available?

Harborside Hotel provides coin-operated laundry on property. Dry cleaning and valet services are not available.
Q:Is there and extra person fee on room reservations?

There is an additional fee per person per night after the second adult (ages 18+).
Q:Are there rollaway or cribs available?

There are NO rollaway available, but pack & plays are available on a first-come / first-served basis.
Q:What are the hotels pet policies?

Harborside is a pet-friendly hotel! Dogs are allowed in hotel rooms for an additional fee per pet per night. Well-mannered dogs 30 lbs. or less. Maximum of two dogs per room. Room type and location restrictions may apply. Guests will be responsible for any property damage inadvertently caused by their dogs.
