Not the place to go!

We arrived early- They told us no rooms- the gal wouldn't have eye contact, engage in any conversations, and was rude the people in front of me with a language barrier, and wanted to rent a boat- she said she doesn't work for that part, and doesn't know anything- She should have said when the rental desk would be open, and help them to understand where to go etc..... I ended up helping him understanding where to go and when to come back.
When we finally got our room, drove across parking lot, hauled our luggage up 2 flights of stairs and walked into a family sleeping, they were not very happy with us.
hauled back down, back into car, drove back to front desk, got another room, hauled again up 2 flights of stairs- and the room had not been cleaned, back down to the car, and we did this 3 times. Our room was dated, but not terrible- the air worked good, and the beds were comfortable.
The Wifi never worked- called to front desk 5 times- no one ever answered, went to front desk and no help.
I asked about the differences in the restaurants and was told that she didn't work in there- so if I had a question go ask someone in there.
No towels at the pool- had to ask at desk. Coffee shop is nice, but you can't get a smile, a hello, or a kind gesture out of any of them, they looked annoyed always.
We were told by another front desk lady we could change into our suits and use pool and to use dressing room in the gift shop. When we got there, she said absolutely not- and wouldn't let us.
I have never seen so many unhappy employees in one place- I even mentioned to one gal that she is the face of this place- and the only available person to ask any questions we may need help with-
I also watch them tell a woman who asked for a special room or upgrade, she told her they were overbooked- and would she like to be one of the people they have to turn away. that is terrible service.
Was glad to leave this place- wouldn't recommend this, front desk ladies will make this place go under.

This place is an epic fail from beginning to end. Let’s start with check in, we arrived early (3:30pm) and decided to go ahead and check in to for go the lines (there was still 5 people in front of us). When I got to the front, the lady let us know that the rooms were not ready. I said that was fine, we were going to grab lunch in the restaurant. So we finished lunch (food was good, service was ok) and I got in line again, now we are twelve people deep with two women checking everyone in. They continue to tell about half the people that their room is not ready. So I get to the front and she tells me that our room is still not ready. So I’m like ok, well will you call my name when it is? She informed me that I was going to have to stand in line again! I look behind me and now a bus load of people are in line. To say the least I was not happy. I went to sit in the lobby with about 25 other people. She finally calls out my name and says she changed our room to get us in now? She couldn’t have done that when I was in line? We get to the room and the room smells like a wet dog. We open the door to air it out. We checked in on Tuesday and checked out Thursday, never had maid service. We paid for a resort fee and our WiFi never worked. We decided to get coffee Wednesday morning, there was one lady collecting money and making drinks. This process took about 30 mins. Every person was complaining, she didn’t care. So then we decided to get the buffet breakfast. This is your only choice if you don’t go into town. We sit down, my sisters get in line for an omelette and I get in line for the American breakfast, they are brewing a new pot of coffee. So I am sitting at the table eating and waiting for the coffee. I see them come out with the new pot. So I get up and walk over passing a bus girl with a tray filled with glasses, napkins and silverware. As I am headed back she drops the tray with about 15 glasses. So I go to help and discover there is glass on my table and in my plate. So I tell her, she doesn’t care. She is sweeping up the glass and one of my sisters comes over and starts moving the chairs to help her. A waiter walks over and asks if she needs help. She says just leave me alone. Again, customer service? Non existent! We went to the pool, spa was as cold as the pool, kiddie pool was the only pool that was warm and it was dirty. Black foam floating in it along with leaves. It was just awful. We paid for a lake view that is blocked by bushes. This place is not a resort, motel seems to be a better word for it. Spend you money at a different hotel, those resort falls very short of a resort!

Think I would rather eat a lightbulb than stay here again

The Wi-Fi didn’t work the tv had no channels I had no hot water the first day and I had to get a new room key twice because on two separate days they randomly stopped working. I would strongly recommend you spend the money on a tent and sleep on the beach instead of this backwater ****hole

Stay for view and not for service

Published Date: Apr, 11, 2025 Travel Date: Apr, 1, 2025 Rating: 3 The views from balcony are breathtaking. Sunrise and du set is gorgeous from the balcony . It is very serene to be so close to lake Powell . But the rooms are very dated and cramped with musty smell . No elevators and so have to haul the luggage through the stairs . The cleanliness was questionable . No shower gel was reviled for our d tire stay despite phone calls to front desk . The gift shop closed at 3 pm. So we had to drive to Page to buy shower gel since the room service was so bad . They did not vacuum the carpets and only made beds . No dusting of side table or coffee table. For the pricing I would not recommend this resort .

No Hot Water

Our room was not ready until 5:20.
No explanation. Balcony views are stunning! Glass closet door was off track leaning against closet. Room was clean and quiet. Bed was extremely comfy. In the morning there was NO HOT WATER. Called the front desk and said she would notify maintenance when they came to work that day. Mgr was not on duty when we went to the front desk.
No apology!
