Great spot for a day, or more if you are hiking. No internet. Which I knew but that takes some adjusting Cabins were cozy and functional. The hot springs are nice but I think they could get crowded. Locker room was nasty at end of day but first thing in AM for resort guests only is nice Restaurant selection was limited but service was great. No other dining options do not sure how busy it gets in high season

Food was good at the restaurant (price wise and taste choices) and the hot springs enjoyable and temperate. The staff was friendly and the service very kind and attentive and it was a great day trip. Kids had fun! Nice to relax after the long drive. Have fun!

We visit here once a year. The restaurant was in full operation and had some great options. The pool area was clean and in good repair. The store in the lodge has nice options for souvenirs. The cabins are getting rough in places - worn furniture, electrical plug not working. And- the swings are gone.

Worth the money to have access to the springs

The cabin we had was very cute. It was rustic but had everything we needed. Very nice bathroom with lots of water pressure. The beds were super comfortable. The best thing about staying here is that you can come and go from the hot springs without having to drive anywhere. And you can get in first thing in the morning before the crowds arrive. It's a bit of a drive from anywhere so if you want to enjoy the springs it's great to stay there. The restaurant was a little pricey and the ambience is blah - but there was a good selection on the menu an the food was good. There is also a little store where you can buy all kinds of food to have in your room. The lodging is a bit pricey as well, but it does give you access to the springs so it was worth it.

Horrible Hospitality

We arrived to the lodge Friday evening after a long day of traveling. I had called the lodge earlier that day since we figured no one would be at the desk by the time we would arrive to let them know we were still coming. The staff told me they would put our room keys in an envelope on the front door. The lodge is 12 miles down the main highway in nothing but woods, it was after 10pm when we got there and the front desk was dark and quiet. I got the envelope with the keys and we found our cabin but sadly the key cards did not work. Being in the woods none of us had cell service to call anywhere. It was just us 3 girls who had never been here before and there was signs on the lodge of both bear and cougar sightings. So we were not sure what we were supposed to do..we can’t get into our room and no one is around and we can’t call anybody. We finally noticed a side door on the main lodge with a light on..I went there and opened it and said excuse me several times then a lady that works with the lodge came and bit my head off that “this area is for staff only” I explained what was going on but she still yelled at me to get out. Someone finally came and fixed the cards. I told the service desk the next morning, they were nice and said it would be taken care of but we never heard anything back. Such a shame since we have stayed a couple times at Lake Cresent Lodge and loved it there. Definitely a negative experience at Sol Duc Lodge and I don’t think we would go back or recommend it to others.
