This was our 2nd time staying here. The first time was during the pandemic so there wasn't much available. This time, though. The tribal park is open, tours are going on, the restaurant is serving at capacity.
We had a king room (2nd level, lower lodge and the view is amazing. The bed is comfortable. The room was clean. Really couldn't ask for more. Our coffee maker was broken but housekeeping got that fixed in just a few minutes. I definitely recommend Goulding's Lodge to anyone looking for accommodations in Monument Valley.

They have a monopoly so they don't rally care. You will not get housekeeping unless you ask.Of course, all rooms have a spectacular view of the monuments. Restaurant is ok,food is We went on a tour and it was awful. Do not go with Marvin. He gave virtually no information and then got us stuck in a ditch. We sat ther with no information. He had no equipment, not even a shovel to try to dig us out. There are 30 other tour companies, don't bother with Gouldings.

The spot and the views were incredible, inside the Monument Valley.
We were treated very well and the after hours arrival procedure worked extremely well and smoothly.
All facilities are outstanding including the indoor heated pool, the laundry, the very clean showers and restrooms etc.
Very highly recommended!!

We took the basic tour of the valley from Gouldings and it was perfect. Great Native guide that was funny and also told stories of Native life. The drive through the valley was incredible. Nice dining room with good food.

Solid choice

Food in restaurant was average, but they have a captive audience so we skipped breakfast. A perfect stop for all the sights and would recommend. Would return at some stage.
