If you're visiting Escalante or Capitol Reef, do yourself a favor and stay at Escalante Yurts—it's truly a five-star experience! We stayed in a large yurt with two queen bedrooms and a loft with three twin beds, which was perfect for our family. The space was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, utensils, dishes, and even had a small cooktop, microwave, and dishwasher. Each room had its own AC/heater unit, and the living room had cozy seating, a TV, and a small fireplace. The beds and bedding were top-notch—some of the most comfortable we’ve experienced. Outside, we enjoyed the BBQ grill, plenty of seating, a campfire spot, tetherball, and hammock swings. It felt like luxury camping with all the comforts of home. We were especially impressed by the thoughtful breakfast stocked in the fridge: Gatorades, breakfast sandwiches, fresh apples, and heavenly cinnamon rolls. Our whole family was blown away by the experience—it’s easily one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed!

Beautiful location, peaceful and quiet. The yurt was roomy and tastefully furnished with every amenity one would need in a hotel room. The packed breakfasts were ample, and the Keurig coffee selection was extensive! We enjoyed making campfires and toasting marshmallows under the stars. They provided everything except the marshmallows!

Our family absolutely loved our stay. The yurt was such a unique experience, but also very nice inside with all the amenities. The kids especially loved the loft and crawling up the ladder to their special room. We had a nice campfire outside with smores and also enjoyed the hammock chairs. Would definitely recommend!

We were fortunate enough to spend one night at this most beautiful location. The owners, Jan and Scott, communicated with us prior to our stay letting us know what to expect at check in and giving us information for our stay. We stayed in The Willow yurt and were very satisfied with the accommodations. It was very roomy, but very cozy at the same time. The decor was lovely!! There was a kitchen/dining area with a Keurig, microwave, fridge, and plates, silverware, wine glasses and an opener- everything you need. Our breakfast was quiche and apple turnovers- heated in the microwave were perfect! A very spacious bathroom with warm, fluffy robes and soap and shampoo were provided. The shower was hot and had good pressure. There is a skylight in the center of the yurt for day and night viewing of the sky. Appreciated ALL of the electrical outlets! The outdoor deck had plenty of seating...don't miss the amazing stars at night!! During our stay, it was so quiet and peaceful. Town is a close drive away for dining and grocery items. Camping under the stars with all the upgrades!! Yurts were clean, spacious, well maintained, with generous amenities in the bathroom/shower. Breakfast provided was plenty to start the day, including gatorades and water for our hikes. This was my first time, but won't be my last! Thanks for an amazing experience Jan and Scott Roundy
