Everything from check-in to check out was a pleasant experience. Excellent onsite dining. Nightly activities were also impressive. Very secluded, quiet, private.

Very cold, but otherwise enjoyable.

The first night was extremely cold, and the fire went out every two hours, which was annoying. The next two nights were way more enjoyable, being way less windy and enjoyable. The last night however, was windy again, and very uncomfortable. I did love this stay at Zion, allowing me to unplug and have time to myself while camping, after all, there was no WiFi. I did not love the fact that there was a chain handle when showering, which made it harder to shower. I did enjoy the stay otherwise, and I loved the way it helped me get away from the outside world!

The tent was freezing cold, and the wood-burning stove was entirely inadequate — the fire logs would burn out every two hours, making it impossible to stay warm throughout the night. The pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable, and the amenities were minimal and did not match the premium price being charged.
To make matters worse, I had an incredibly upsetting encounter while checking out.
The front desk informed me that a restaurant bill had been charged to my room. I explained that I hadn’t eaten at the restaurant. The manager, standing nearby, immediately questioned me: “Are you sure about that?” I confirmed that I was.
He then sat down, checked his computer, and asked again: “Are you sure you didn’t have dinner at the restaurant?” I replied, “Yes, I’m sure.”
He continued pressing: “Did you not eat dinner last night?” Though I found the question irrelevant, I calmly answered, “We had dinner before arriving.”
Amazingly, the interrogation didn’t stop there. He went on to ask, “Where did you eat dinner?” At that point, I felt genuinely offended by his accusatory and condescending attitude. The suggestion that I would attempt to deny a legitimate charge was both unfair and insulting.
I asked why names aren’t verified when a charge is made to a room, and why the situation couldn’t have been resolved by investigating the error rather than interrogating me as if I were lying.
Frankly, it’s hard to imagine anyone disputing a restaurant charge unless it was truly a mistake.
I chose this location based on a positive prior experience at Under Canvas Mount Rushmore, but this stay has left me deeply disappointed. After this experience, I will not stay at another Under Canvas property again.

A great stay out west!

We enjoyed the food and live music, and the mountain-top yoga was amazing.
Top notch glamping!
Will definitely seek out other locations for our stay!

The tents were super cool and very comfortable.. very.close to canyoneering and a nice scenic drive through one of the entrance of Zion. The main entrance was about 25 min away but a very easy drive. The staff was very friendly and the food was also good.
