We were a group of 11 women on a book-club retreat and this hotel was our main base for the weekend. Wow, did it keep exceeding my expectations! I had stayed here before about ten years ago and remembered it as nice. This time I kept noticing all the little things that kept making it delightful! Like arriving in the late afternoon and there’s hot coffee and cookies available in the lobby. The pool is usually not a draw for me because I think hotel pools are often small and dreary, but I loved their pool! It was good-sized with steps walking in from the hot-tub side, and it was all in a window-filled room streaming with light. Everything was super clean and the hot-tub had strong jets. They thoughtfully provided a stash of towels on the pool deck as well. The rooms were generous in size and again, super clean and quiet. No whirring mechanical sounds to deal with. Comfortable bedding and they had a caddy of full-sized bath products in the shower so you didn’t have to fumble with little bottles or unwrapping tiny bars of soap. The complimentary breakfast each morning was also more than I expected with fresh eggs, meat and potato options along with all the other standard bread and cereal options. There were well-labeled gluten-free options and full list of ingredients in omelets etc… so you could choose your items fully-informed. What stood out as well was the friendliness of the staff and sense of pride they had. You could tell they liked where they worked and loved their community. We also ate at the Black Bear Diner next door and the menu was far more diverse than I expected, and affordable. I had a great tri-tip steak for $15. Our bottle of wine was $32. Heard great reports from my friends on the blackened salmon and all you can eat fish fry. I think they should take “Express”out of their name. This is a hotel where you’ll want to linger. Sigh. Still charges the nonsensical early departure fee on an already paid for night. It was a free IHG night and nothing discourages a return visit more than a poor policy like this. I thought the hotel overall was fine but this is Not guest friendly or acceptable.

I don't think i have stayed in a cleaner Holiday Inn Express. Our room was spotless. Beds were comfy, great shower. There was breakfast in the lobby but we did not partake. Also, there is a rooftop garden but did not see the signs until on our way out. I would have given 5 dots, but there were running children above us and the floor to floor noise seemed a bit loud. Still, there was no hallway noise. Room had a full size fridge and microwave in the kitchenette. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Moved in just prior to the covid crises, when were looking to purchase our home in Sequim. We received a great rate and warm welcom from the manager Namase. The resident suite with kitchenette was wonderful. The amenities including, but not limited to business center, breakfast, and front desk staff were most appreciated. The on site Black Bear restaurant is exceptional.

Good hotel, good pool, good gym. Staff was GREAT! Especially check-in staff and breakfast staff (kept the food well stocked and cleaned up right after people left tables). Would stay again when in the area. Easy access to highway and short drive into town.
