We booked ZMR for three nights at end of Feb as a quiet base from which to explore Zion NP. It exceeded our expectations. In fact, we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the ranch more than the crowds and traffic of the park itself. Location was perfect. Easy in and out of Zion NP through the (at least in late Feb) unstaffed / no line park east entrance. The cabin was clean and cozy with a deep soaking tub for after a day of hiking and a gas fire heater for the cool Feb nights. Lots of places within few minutes drive or even a few steps walk from cabin to do some night sky photography. The ZMR staff is very warm and friendly without being obsequious. Part of the office staff includes some Great Pyrenees lounging around the office lobby along with several chickens walking around outside. We ate in the restaurant twice, once each for breakfast and dinner. Both meals were good and reasonably priced and also with very friendly staff. We booked a horseback ride at the front desk and the staff helped us pick the right ride for us. Wife and I along with our guide did a short ride around the hundreds of acres of the ranch on a pair of nice, well cared for horses. While we are glad we visited Zion National Park, and did enjoy it in spite of the crowds and chaos, it is "checked off" our list. On other hand, we would gladly make ZMR a destination in and of itself in the future and explore more of southern Utah or just relax.

You cannot beat the location and atmosphere of this place! So relaxing and beautiful with an amazing restaurant. Truly a real vacation. The staff were very friendly making you feel right at home. From horses to puppies to chickens to bison, this place gave you the feel of a real ranch while still keeping your privacy with your own cabin tucked into the tree scape.

What a beautiful stay and dining experience in Zion! Everything was absolutely perfect! I highly recommend this Inn for your trip to Zion. The waiters Johnny and Tony brought joy to our evening dinners. This Inn is designed for a person looking for. 5 star experience .

Where do I ever begin?! My family and I stayed in a preserve 2 bedroom cabin and it was perfect. The beds were so comfortable and the jet tubs great for the kiddos. The views from the cabin are unbeatable! Peak joy was achieved drinking coffee while watching the sun rise over the horizon. The wildlife on the ranch is so impressive - 70 bison (we loved the bison feeding tour!), horses (we rode horses and Kyle is the BEST and so kind and knowledgeable), mini horses, chickens (the lobby chicken Journey was our favorite), and sweetest dogs on the ranch with the new puppies sleeping in the greenhouse (we were all obsessed). Rusty and Summer at the front desk are great and so kind. In fact, everyone we encountered here had the same warm and friendly composition, which made it feel so comfortable to interact with all of the staff. I am so impressed by how impeccably and well organized this ranch is ran, considering how big it is. The restaurant is DEVINE with the dishes incredible - including homemade ice creams and desserts! Even the kids menu items were delicious. I am really blown away by our stay here. We have traveled all over, and I’m not sure I have ever been so sad about leaving someplace. It is nothing short of MAGICAL. I would return again and again, and I hope to. Highly, highly recommend. Thank you, amazing ZMR team! Y’all are doing something right!

We had the most incredible stay at Zion Mountain Ranch from start to finish. The whole property was absolutely amazing but Lodge 224 was spectacular and certainly had more than we needed . Rusty was extremely helpful prior to check in and Dante at the front desk was great and very informative too. We did a stunning sunset horseback ride with Kyle and we rode Precious and Faith. It was perfect! Later that evening we had an amazing dinner at the restaurant too. We loved all the animals - dogs with their puppies, chickens, roosters, horses & buffalo's in the distance. We can't say enough about how wonderful it was. We highly recommend it and hope to return.
