To much gay pride.

Hotel was fine. Bed was very comfortable. The fellow at the desk tracked down a deck of cards for us when we asked if they had a set we could use. I did not appreciate the gay pride flags in my face at the reception counter. There must have been 30 gay pride flags in the lobby. Enough already!

Great experience. Will be back.

We had a great experience at Lobstick Lodge. The indoor pool was a little cold but the kids loved swimming in it. The ourdoor hot tub was great. Nice and hot and quite a bit of room. Towels were always available. Kitchen had what we needed to cook a few small meals. Room was spacious enough for all our kids and the dog.

Great place to stay with family and friends. Always clean and friendly staff. Property is well looked after. Easy to get in and out of when you want to go exploring. The cafe makes a great way to grab a quick snack/breakfast and a coffee before you head out for the day. Overall the Lobstick Lodge is a great place to stay for your time in Jasper

A good value hotel with good facilities (pool, sauna, hot tub, laundry room and importantly a cafe for morning coffee) and friendly staff. Quite tired bedroom decor but we like the rooms with two king beds which gives us a comfortable sleep.

Good off season deal

We planned a last minute overnight in Jasper and got a great deal. I know it is not the busy season yet but I was still pleasantly surprised to get a rate that is less than I would pay for a staycation in the suburbs of Edmonton. This hotel has been around since I was a kid, so I wasn't expecting anything spectacular. Although it has had updates, the biggest dislike of it is the dusty dingy smell throughout. The walls and floors definitely allow sound to travel from hallways and other rooms. There didn't appear to be a way to control the temperature in the room and I don't know if they have a/c in the building for summer but the room windows do open to get some airflow. We were on the bottom floor though so I didn't want to leave windows open when we weren't present. I'm not sure how much openable windows would help in summer but for now it was fine. The room itself was clean, as was the bathroom. The bed and pillows were decently comfortable. Parking was quite full by the evening but there is a street option for backup. Staff were all pleasant as well.
