Black mold in men’s spa the property manager said that maintenance was changing the air filters, but I have pictures from four days before I texted them that the air filters had black mold in them and she said that she will not communicate with me until tomorrow, April 11 to resolve the issue

An old, tired hotel, with a mis-leading website

Our entire stay at the hotel was very disappointing. The hotel is very old and tired and most of the facilities were broken/out of order - both ladies and men’s indoor facilities were out of order most of our stay and several outdoor facilities were also out of order. The website is also inaccurate and misleading about several very important things upon which we based our decision to stay there. The hotel says it is a “ski in/out resort”. There is no physical way to ski out so that is a blatant lie! You can ski in if there is enough snow, but not out. The website lists a restaurant “with jaw-dropping views”, but there is no restaurant. Just a bar with a very limited menu and wine list. All in all, this was a motel experience at 4 star hotel pricing.

Awesome hotel, favorite housekeeper ever.

We love snake river. Huge rooms, best location, fun pool. And the most special part is if you are lucky enough to have Annie do your housekeeping. Her spirit and smile will warm your day when you walk out your door. My new personal mantra is to be more like Annie.

Great location and management, let down by some deficiencies

I would like to actually leave a 3.5 star review, but unable to do so unfortunately .... First of all, the hotel management, front desk crew, and reservations associates were all top notch, and helped me with my stay, and even helped me fix a mistake that I made that could have cost me a lot of money. They were all 5 stars or better!! The hotel / spa itself is ideal for ski-in / ski-out, and the convenience of the location gives it a high mark also, and for that alone, I would rate it very highly! However, a few other things ding the hotel. It is an older establishment, and while they have updated it, things like the "antique elevator" (ie impossible to get a luggage cart into), loud doors, and lack of or minimal sound deadening, very small rooms take away from what many newer establishments can offer. Waking up to someone else's crying baby at 3.30 in the morning takes away from the comfort of the (small) room. Room service was also not up to expectations, with dirty towels taken, but not the same number of clean towels returned, and soaps not refilled. The on site ski / boot valet is extremely convenient along with the complementary self parking. And... even better, an oh, so nice extra at the ski shop, the boot driers are such a great benefit!! We did enjoy that. We did not spend any time at the bar there in the main level, but did do one trip to the morning buffet. This breakfast which was not included in the stay was very expensive for a barely average quality self-seve buffet. A 20% tip was also automatically included in the charge for the meal. (For a self serve buffet where the only real "service" was a one time fill of a coffee and a soft drink, no refills were offered) So, while we understand paying for the convenience of the hotel, we don't feel it was the best value for our vacation dollars, and while again, the front desk, and management were excellent, the other areas take away from what could really be an excellent mountain side hotel.

They charge $31 for a garbage breakfast buffet, with built in 20% tip so it was $38 to eat non-fresh eggs and cereal..I understand making a profit but that was outrageous..The pool and hottub were nice but the hottub was only heated for one of the days we were there
