Good spot to stay

This is not luxury and yes the price is high (welcome to national park lodging), but the location is great. If you want to stay inside Glacier national park this is a good choice. The cabins are old, paint is chipping, furniture is worn, but in my opinion that is all part of the adventure and charm! We found our cabin to be clean. We really only slept in the cabin as we were out exploring/hiking enjoying the park during the day. Our cabin overlooked the river and after a long day hiking we loved jumping in the chilly river. Also loved walking around Apgar village, getting coffee and ice cream. The staff were all nice and welcoming.

Cute little motel

This is a charming little motel on the shore of Lake McDonald. The room was small, but the location can't be beat. We could hear our neighbors through the wall, and the wifi did not reach our room, but overall it was a comfortable and convenient stay inside the park.

Cabin 7 We asked for cabin 6 a year in advance!!

The cabins are deteriorating and need repair. The view is always spectacular. The cabin kitchen and bathroom floor were not clean.

Beautiful site, but needs new Beds!!!

The beds were terrible, bowed in the middle, my back still hurts. Bedroom room needs to have a door.

Great location to Lake McDoanld and GTTSR but very cramped and outdated

We loved the location to Lake McDonald and GTTSR! Our motel needs a few small upgrades; another towel rack or two and a row of hooks to hang a few things. Another luggage rack since the room accommodates 4. A door on the second bedroom like a pocket door would be awesome! Very cramped and outdated. It was listed as a 2 bedroom but should just state 2 queen beds. It is not a 2 bedroom especially w/o a door.
