Additionally you have your own door exiting to the parking lot. The rooms are modern and very clean. The best part is the floor are a laminate. Easy cleanup for wet paws and boots. This is our second year at the Dorothy and we will come back.

Amenities were great but room was unkempt

The toilet seat was not screwed on (the screws, washers, etc. were sitting on the sink), there was electrical tape holding a lamp together and it looked like the shower floor hadn't been cleaned. On the positive side I really liked the bus pass included in our stay, with temperatures cooling down it was nice to not have to walk to and from downtown. We also used the hot pools over at the Canoe which were very nice and easily accessible with a nice change room to shower before heading back. Overall our stay was okay.

Great to have a fridge, microwave and tea & coffee in the room. So much storage in the room and easy parking on site. Although a little further out than other hotels, we still walked into town some nights and only took 20 minutes or we have the free roam bus pass so don't let that put you off. We had some issue with check in app but able to easily check in 5 minutes walk down the road so wasn't a bother and only other slight thing was the Aircon is super noisy and we were on ground floor so had no window to open only a door so couldn't leave it open but we just didn't blasts of Aircon and it wasn't awful, especially as weather starting to turn. Would highly recommend!

Nice place with a friendly price

The mattresses are not that comfortable, in my particular case I need a firmer bed. Good place for the price you pay, and comparatively with other hotels in Banff

Lovely little motel, would stay here again

Rooms were clean, well maintained and spacious. Safe and fridge in the room. Free Roam Pass for duration of stay was excellent and bus stop just round the corner. Courtyard was nice. Free parking. Very quiet. Use of Caribou Lodge spa. Comfortable beds and pillows. Gas station/convenience store very useful just across the road. Free Rocky Mountain toiletries.
We stayed in room 118.
Cons: Shower cubicle was a little bit small, a larger person would find it a bit restrictive. Room was a little bit dark - needed light on most of the time - and couldn't leave blinds open as windows faced courtyard as we were on ground floor.
