Excellent hotel right on the water. The balcony was awesome and everyone there is so nice. Will stay again and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Entire facility is super clean and friendly! The views are beautiful as well highly recommend

We stayed at the Atlantic Oceanside during a college visit for our daughter to College of the Atlantic. We originally chose it because it was one of the few places on their recommendation list that was open this time of year and close in proximity. We could not have been more pleased with our experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Every staff member we passed smiled and greeted us. The views were incredible, and the room was IMMACULATE! The morning breakfast was exceptional, and the dining area was also kept very clean and well stocked. They have a virtual assistant that you get connected with upon check-in and I was a little skeptical about it, but it was a great tool! We had a few questions, and they were answered promptly. When we requested additional blankets, we had a response within 5 minutes, and they were delivered shortly after. In terms of proximity to town the hotel is located outside of the town of Bar Harbor, but it was a quick drive and there are sidewalks that would make walking safe during a more busy time of year. The staff also mentioned there are buses that go into town in season. I honestly cannot say enough good things. It exceeded our expectations.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. I loved having a couch as well, but it was not comfortable to sit on. Not a big deal, I was mostly in the event center for our workshop and that is a very nice venue. I especially loved the Bistro - everything was delicious (except the Brussel sprouts) - my favorites were the ravioli, the flatbread, and the maple creme brûlée. So good! Also a beautiful view of the water.

The staff was exemplary. We were treated with the greatest attention and friendliness. Our dinner at the bistro was delicious and well prepared (try the lobster dip!) The complementary breakfast was quite beyond our expectation of cereal, muffins and coffee. This included hot, made to order sandwiches and omelets. The room was clean and well furnished. The bath products supplied were of a high quality and were plentiful. We also took advantage of the indoor hot tub & pool after our long day on the road. Definitely 5 star treatment all around.

The Atlantic Oceanside is a great value. It is a beautiful hotel with ocean views from every room. The breakfast was over the top!!! It was like going to a restaurant for breakfast with waitresses that took your order but all completely free and delicious!!
