We stayed in one of the loft suites. The layout is really nice and great if you plan to spend some time in your room. The decor gives rustic vibes which is very in keeping with the location. However, a closer look shows it’s a bit worn around the edges. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness was ok, though the AC unit in the room could definitely use a dusting. We were coughing all night. The main draw for this hotel is definitely the grotto style underground cave with heated pool/hot tub. Don’t let the pictures fool you though, it is very small and gets crowded very quickly. The biggest reason for the 3 star rating, is the Chilis restaurant. I wrote another review about that. If you are wanting to eat in the hotel, I highly recommend going to a nearby hotel instead.

Looks really nice online. I booked a premium loft suite. When I arrived I realised it was anything but ‘premium’. Furniture and walls all bashed. Looked like it had 10+ years of skiers, snowboarder and party animals without a refit in all that time. Sofa was stained top to bottom. Utterly Disgusting. Went for a soak in the hot tub. That’s until I saw the surface of the water and the human skin scum floating on it. Got out quick and went for a shower in the spa facilities that looked like they hadn’t been updated in 20 years. Frankly resembled a Turkish prison. Shower not working and dirty scummy water on the dirty floor. Expressed my thoughts to the desk having paid a significant sum for my stay (I could have booked Banff springs for not much more). I will just say that staff seemed ‘less than concerned’. Might have been a nice place in the 1990s, but not now. Save your money. This place is a real dive.

There are two beds which better if you travel with friends. Since I took package trip, no food provided. But the hotel has Chillies restaurant! As for my room, there were some sound, which I think the sounds come from the next room or the heater.

Situated in a great location on the edge of town with outstanding scenery all around you . A great bonus is that the free bus passes by regularly . Our room had the bedroom downstairs which was compact with a tiny bathroom so we had to leave all our luggage upstairs in the living area . The cave and basin hot pool is brilliant and most relaxing . Staff were friendly at all times and the Restaurant is very good
