Stayed at two different hotels while I was in Bar Harbor and the Acadia stuck out as the exceptional one by far-- very personable staff. Nick had a ton of knowledge of the area and felt extremely connected to the community! Would definitely book again!

I had an amazing stay at the Acadia Hotel Downtown! The highlight was definitely Nick, who was incredibly accommodating and so knowledgeable about the area. He made sure I had everything I needed and gave great recommendations for things to do nearby. The amenities were top-notch, and the room was both comfortable and stylish. One of the best surprises was the shared balcony, which added such a nice touch to the experience. The Captain’s House, where I stayed, was quirky and full of character—it felt like a perfect blend of history and charm. It was perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or unwinding in the evening with a beautiful view. Highly recommend staying here!

Returning customer for several visits. Woke up to a cold shower. Not tepid. Not warm. Cold. No communication with manager until they were emailed Monday after stay, though management knew there had been an issue. Management claimed this was 'a cold blast of water" and said "things happen." When things happen, you attempt to make it right--offer another shower (although 20 minutes later the one next door offered was cold as well) Offer to come back sometime. What you don't do is offer lame excuses and insinuate someone is lying. Will not stay at another Henry Hotel property again. A hot shower in the morning, in a hotel, is to be expected. And if and when things happen, they should be addressed and made right. Hospitality. Customer service. It's pretty basic.

Quiet this time of year, so the hotel was light staffed. Had the same girl working the entire weekend I was here and she was welcoming and helpful. Clean and comfortable and can't beat the location if you want to hoof it around town or visit the park.

Cutest little place! Amazing accommodations, breakfast, and the best inn we’ve ever stayed at. Super close to the water and downtown area. The staff was really nice and always had a friendly greeting or helpful comment about the area or suggestion for an activity of the day.
