Good but mediocre breakfast

We stayed here three nights in early April when we went whitewater rafting and visiting the park. We visited in April and were pleasantly surprised how warm it was, so the kids did lots of playing in the nice pool. This is pretty much the only hotel in the area and it has lots of good points but also some average ones - mainly the staff. Because of its remoteness it appeared that it's tricky to get good staff. The pick of the bunch was the girl doing the self-serve breakfast. She didn't understand that the food, etc needed replenishing during the breakfast period. She seemed to view the guests as an impediment to her conversation with the guy on reception and she looked so unbelievably miserable all the time, particularly when asked to put out more bagels and cereal. And she was the same for all three breakfasts we had there. Also, the breakfast is average. Plus points for scramble eggs and bacon but the juices were odd, a bit like Kool Aid and the coffee was bizarrely disgusting! It looked like coffee but had no taste whatsoever and it had a really offputting smell. By the third breakfast we eschewed the strange muddy stuff. However, the room was fine and we enjoyed the pool area. There's a bbq site and seats to eat your own food around the pool. The location is perfect for the park, so have no qualms about staying here. It was a very pleasant stay, all-in-all. There are kids games around the pool. Our kids (6 and 8) loved it.

Beds are terrible, old spring mattress.Newer half of hotel was closed.Pool and hot tub closed!Sauna closed!Second laundry closed.Booked two room and both rooms need remodeling. The half that was open is old and in major need of remodeling.Breakfast wasn’t bad.I wouldn’t stay at this location again.Look elsewhere for the money they charge.

Comfort Inn & Suites Sequoia Kings Canyon exceeded expectations with its clean, spacious, and comfortable rooms. The welcoming staff, especially Ms. Emily, made our stay even better. The 24/7 reception ensured seamless check-in and check-out. Ample parking was a plus, and the location near Sequoia and Kings Canyon was perfect. Breakfast could be even better with simple additions like sautéed mushrooms and cucumber, offering more variety for those who prefer lighter, less sweet, or meat-free options. Highly recommended!

Nice, basic great location.

The staff was friendly at checkin and helpful with questions. Rooms are clean, beds are firmer than I prefer. We stayed in a handicap room which had very little counter space in the bathroom. The location is great for visiting Sequoia National Park.

Just terrible. Confused staff on the front desk, tired and dirty rooms (multiple hairs found in bedding and sticky carpets) and a sink that didn’t drain. Checked in - had pizza across the road at Pizza Factory (the one highlight) and checked straight back out. Could not spend the night here given the condition.
