We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Bar Harbor Inn. The staff were very informative and friendly. The Inn is clean and well maintained. The quiet elegance of the Inn and the surrounding area are very appealing to avid outdoorsy travelers. While we were a bit early in the season for some businesses, we enjoyed the less crowded experience of this sweet town and Inn.

Bar Harbor is beautiful. Acadia National Park is stunning. This hotel is in the center of it all. Perfect location with amazing views. Walk to shops and restaurants. Can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Luxury meets family-friendly. Off-season travel here is well worth it for the price making it an exceptional value. Stayed 3 nights in a bay view room. Room cozy but with lovely high-end furnishings and very clean. Theme consistent throughout the hotel. Bed comfortable. Fridge, microwave, and safe in room. Views from small balcony were amazing. High-end and very clean bathroom. Very professional service. Lovely lobby with fireplace. A few boardgames available in lobby. Complimentary coffee and tea (Tea Forte) in lobby at all times. Complimentary continental breakfast is in a separate building and was one of the best continental breakfast setups I’ve had. Delicious, fresh pastries (lots of variety), fruit, hot oatmeal, freshly squeezed juice, boiled eggs, and “fancy” yogurt. Somewhat small outdoor infinity pool is not yet open for the season. Truly outstanding hotel. Would definitely stay here again for the right price. Really wonderful.

Beautiful, luxurious historic hotel with gorgeous views. Exceedingly comfortable rooms, wonderful staff and an included continental breakfast that was fabulous. We stayed in the main building in a room with a view of the water and could not have asked for a better stay.

BHI is the perfect stay for exploring coastal life and Acadia National Park! My husband and I loved the feel of the inn with the wonderful staff, available amenities and treats, and overall serene and comfortable environment. The room and view were amazing and all our needs were taken care of to enjoy exploring and relaxing in Bar Harbor. We will definitely we staying here again!

We loved our stay, everyone was so friendly and the rooms were so clean! We were worried the pools would be too cold, but they were heated to a perfect temperature and I am always cold! The pool and hot tub overlooked the water, it was beautiful! I also loved that they had games in the lobby and coffee at any time! We will be back!
