Best Western Plus Ruby's Inn

Terrible place. Really old. Not worth the money.

Their furniture looks like it came from the western period that they have pictures of on the walls. Really dark wood. Almost black carpet. I called the front desk asking if we could have a mug or cup that can be microwaved for tea in the evening. She said - and I quote - “we don’t have that at all. Just use the coffee maker to warm up hot water.” Absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. Even the staff at the restaurant don’t seem to care about answering your questions at all. The staff don’t care about serving the customers.

We stayed at Ruby’s Inn RV Park on April 19th as a group of four RVs, all part of the same family. When we made our reservation, we were explicitly promised adjacent spots. However, upon arrival, we found that one of our spots had been given to another party.
When we raised this issue, a staff member named Loyd responded with clear hostility. Despite our polite and respectful approach, he told us we could “just take our family and get out.” This was unprofessional, unacceptable, and frankly, offensive.
We are extremely disappointed—not only with the mishandling of our reservation but also with the rude and dismissive treatment we received. We are requesting a full refund for our stay.
I hope you take this matter seriously and respond accordingly.
Sincerely,
Angela

Overpriced Motel

If there was a place that was charging more than this I would be amazed… oh that’s right, there is, across the street, another Best Western Plus owned by the same people, except that one is a Hotel.
There is nothing about this place that makes me want to ever come back. The rooms are dark, outdated and cramped. There is no elevator in the other buildings so you have to lug your luggage up the stairs. There aren’t even bell hops that can bring your luggage to your room for you and for the price you pay for this place, there should be.
The bottle of shampoo are tiny and the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen are the half pillows. Who provides only half pillows? Apparently, this place does. They also charge a resort fee. I was there in April and the only amenities were a pool and a gym that any Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express provides for free. They have other amenities that begin in May that you have to pay for. The store is apparently the crown jewel as that is what appears to be the most well groomed area of the premises.
The restaurant is less than mediocre at best. Lunch and dinner is not good, however I can say that their breakfast buffet isn’t bad.

Great location. Clean!!!

People up playing cards and chatting just outside our room. Gift shop prices were very reasonable. If reviews not going to the gift shop at night as it gets super crowded.
Very clean hotel!

Fun family hotel in ideal location!

Pool was a fun perk while it was snowing! Room was quiet and comfortable. My kids loved the restaurant and said it was their favorite meal on our trip, both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast buffet included! Easy parking. We needed to do laundry and that was easy too.
