Packing Tips For Olympic National Park

Olympic National Park in Washington is perhaps the most diverse of all national parks, it certainly is the most mysterious. Here you can go from backpacking in the mountains to kayaking in the ocean in one short day. While this means more fun for you it also can mean a bit of a headache when you are packing for this fabulous trip. When packing for a vacation like this it is good to keep certain things in mind.

• Research the average climate and weather for Olympic National Park during the month you are visiting.
• With the weather information you just found in mind, pull the clothes from your closet that are climate appropriate to your destination, because you may go from high chilly conditions to playing in the water factor all this into your choices.
• Match up just enough outfits for a number of days you are going on vacation - it is a good idea to pack outfits that can be mixed and matched that way you only have to pack 3 or 4 that you can wear in different ways throughout your trip.
• Get the smallest suitcase possible that will hold the clothes you have set aside and a few other small items.
